Indus is an object oriented programming language for implementing software agents. Indus contains new syntax and semantics for agent coordination and reuse of components by agents. The Indus run time and libraries enable distributed software agents to discover each other at run time, route messages intelligently, manage transactions, policies, and lifecycles. Indus brings huge developer productivity increase compared to other languages for concurrent and distributed programming. An Eclipse based IDE for Indus is also available separately from the Indus developer site.
