bekaye is right. If you are running an older motherboard you have to use the 2.91 version of the utility. Download it from Intel or bing it and it will take you there. If you do not know what you have, try them both, one of them will tell you what you have.

I have an MSI P35 Neo2FR motherboard, now this has the P35 chipset. Intels own identification utility say's I have Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset
. I know that the drivers for both P35 and G33 are the same package but a bit misleading anyway.

From the Intel site, the readme states:

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
One of the following Intel chipsets:
Intel(R) 910GL Express Chipset
Intel(R) 915G Express Chipset
Intel(R) 915GV Express Chipset
Intel(R) 915P Express Chipset
Intel(R) 925X Express Chipset
Mobile Intel(R) 910GML Express Chipset
Mobile Intel(R) 915GM Express Chipset
Mobile Intel(R) 915GML Express Chipset
Mobile Intel(R) 915GMS Express Chipset
Mobile Intel(R) 915PM Express Chipset
Intel(R) 945G Express Chipset
Intel(R) 945P Express Chipset

So to identify earlier chipsets, use version 2.91.

I was afraid that I was the only one experiencing this problem. I get the same script error. I even tried it on another Intel box, wihtout success.

Doesn't work. Tried it on multiple machines and I just get script errors.

And "bekaye" (above this post,) if the utility requires multiple programs to identify the chipset doesn't it defeat the purpose of the utility?

These are some of the most ridiculous reviews I've ever seen. This does exactly what it is supposed to do. Next will be a review stating that this doesn't work on a mac.
