This applet will convert any HTML code into a JavaScript function. This allows you to control the content of a web page dynamically and remotely. For example, let's say that you have a web site of 100 pages and that you want to have some information on each of those pages that is common to some or all of them, but subject to possible change: your contact information; a "smile of the day"; a mouse-over navigation bar, etc.

You could insert the HTML code into each of those pages, but that would make it necessary to change all of them whenever you wanted to change the content. Or, you could insert a JavaScript function call in each of those pages. When you want to change the content, you change the function and, presto, all the pages change their content, automatically. Instead of changing and uploading 100 files, you only change and upload one file.
