KoolKam is the most versatile and stable camming software I have found. The "Koolest" features are the effects and pic in pic. Easy to set up, and tech support is second to none! I strongly endorse KoolKam.

Having trouble getting a non USB webcam such as a cam corder to capture with an upscale video card that utilizes MS Direct Draw and the Microsoft WDM driver? KoolKam can solve all your troubles. I have tried many capture programs and like a lot of them for various reasons but when I upgraded to Win2k and installed an ATI Radeon 7500 vid card, all of them were broken. I turned to KoolKam and it fired right up. All the features are wonderful. If creativity and having fun with your cam is something you're looking for you simply cant go wrong with KoolKam.

KoolKam has created friends filled with the trust that comes from seeing each other in real time with the life filled expressions in much the same way face to face, in person, communication does. The added element of real time effects broadcasting and a built in server makes the software both unique and extrordinary. Create a slideshow of webimages in moments using the snapshot grabber built in (jpg or bmp, your choice), do your image editing in KoolKam itself using color adjustments and effects sliders live as you cam or after the fact. Add another live image of your own to the broadcast by broadcasting live motion of a second cam on your system with picture in picture or add that of a kool friend as the PIP and you can interact in the same rectangle! Make a set of effects that you really love and save the preset then share it with a friend or better yet trade it for their favorite color adjustments preset! KoolKam puts you in control of your image which is the way you are seen by the online world. KoolKam keeps your image as interesting as you are creative. So fun. So kool.

For those of us not so technologically advanced or savvy (or who do not even own a webcam) - KoolKam lends a helping hand with its Slide Show feature.

I can take existing pics and create a Slideshow - with the ability broadcast it with real time effects. You have the ability to create numerous slideshows, and save them for future broadcasts. You can get ultra-creative with the slideshows you make, in effect - broadcasting a performance.

For those with webcams, but are AFK for any length of time - this is a great feature, as it gives your viewers something to watch in the interim.

You can also take existing pics and tweak them with the special effects...with the Motion Blurr feature turned on - KoolKam creates new and interesting pics without you having to lift a finger - producing kool-looking finished products.

I am certain that once I get a webcam, I will have more to say about this user-friendly webcam software, and its abundance of cutting-edge and illustrious effects and features.

KoolKam is what it say's it is KOOL KAM!!!!!
when i got one of the earlier versions i was blown away (i'll admit i was a webcam32 fan and i had Chillcam)the free and easy way to flow around the software along with some of the special effects i was hooked then came hologram along with easy of having people view you without having to build a page to view it.
all and all if your into webcams and want to run the greatest software out right now get this one you will not regret it !!!!!!

This software took camming to a whole new level! I had used video conferencing software when chatting with friends and it always seemed to slow my computer down or the picture was small or not very good. Koolkam finally made it possible to run continuous video of me on my computer without bogging it down. Not to mention, I could run the streaming video on my webpage and allow multiple people to view it at once. PLUS! I can save images with a quick press of a button! I love the fact that I can leave it on my personal page and run a slideshow when I am not actually there.

KOOLKAM IS THE ULTIMATE IN CAMMING SOFTWARE! If you aren't using it, you are missing out!

I beta tested this software from the beginning. The idea is very original, as you are broadcasting from your cam you may add in a second cam, third etc, warp the images, change colors, add text, rotate your picture, crossfade into other pictures, blur the image and split it into 2. Really many many features, and most of these features are only found in high end graphics programs, that ONLY allow you to manipulate STILL images, as i said here you can manipulate LIVE VIDEO, or put a still in the backgound and warp it. This is a must have at any price.

Koolkam 2d is one-stop shopping for webcam afficianatos, in that it installs easily, and is loaded to the hilt with special effects that allow excellent creativity. No down-side here I could find.

sweet program! finally, I can do whatever I want with my stream. I especially love the hologram effect, its ultra cool to shock people with the effects. The stability is unreal, and I can stream to 10 times the amount of people that webcam 32 or any other cam software allows, without losing any of the framerate quality. very nice job. Id give it a 6/5 if I could :)

I was awed by the easy of use. Then very impressed with the fact that you can use mutiple camera or any video input device. I recommend this to all the people that want to stand out from the crowd when it comes to video streaming.
This will bring the webcams out from the cob webs and back where they belong , on the net.
