Looks great but i keep getting an error about the master list ''on start up''..i have no idea what happened.
i do like the option to add games manually but i hope that in the future it will be easier to add them etc..

I let it install using default for everything, and it found my installed games. However, by default, under 'Get Servers', it doesn't list my installed games. My first time trying this is soured ... otherwise, this looks like a nice alternative to ASE.

I had looked at the FAQ when I posted my comments. The suggested fix for the Hyperthreading issue caused the program to crash all-together. Hopefully this is resolved soon.

It looks like there's some potential for this program. It's too bad it locks up on my XP box. It's not a complete lock up, just the server list locks up. Oh, and you can't exit the program either. I'd love to replace ASE with this program, but it has to work first. Here's some info for the author: I'm running a completely patched version of XP. I've got the .NET framework v1.1 installed (not a requirement, I know, but I'm a software developer). The computer is behind a Linksys router which is connected to cable internet. If you need to know anything else just post a message here and I'll respond. I'll be monitoring this program for progress, as I would like to be able to use it.

I've been a long time user of Kali and more recently The All-Seeing Eye. Great programs, but you have to pay to get full use out of them. Now I find this full featured program that does most of what ASE does and is free to boot. A great program. I take my hat off to Kris for this great program and all the time he spends on it free to the users.
Give it a try.

Crashes on XP after refreshing some CS servers. Manages to live about 40 seconds so I'll give it credit for that. Has great potential.

Crashes on my Windows XP box, yet this program has great potential. I hope in its higher versions it'll crash less and overcome gamespy, but for now it has some bugs (hence.... beta hehe). Excellent idea.

Kquery does not contain spyware. Disassemble the program if you wish.
Maxmind GeoIP is a third party component used for determining the country information based on an IP address. It does this by looking up the ip in a local database file, which is insatlled with kquery. This information is used within kquery for displaying the country flags and country info next to each game server. If you do not wish to use country information within kquery then you can delete the geoip dll files and turn off country lookups from within kquery setup.
As for not deleting the GeoIP files : this bug will be fixed in the next alpha release.
Next time you post comments about a program, it'd help to do a little research.
Kquery has never, and will never include spyware.
