The development of LeapFTP has ceased six years ago yet the developer is still trying to sell it.

BPFTP Server/Client are way better: http://www.bpftp.com

Used to be the number one client around, but I've contacted the author several times regarding a possible 3.0 and he kept claiming that one was in the works and that a beta was due within a week or so, well, this was 5 months ago. Have heard nothing since then. Too bad that the support for this program has dropped like it has.

The only fix in this version (according to leapware.com) is a overflow exploit.

I love this FTP client. It is pretty small and still feature rich. It does not suffer from being bloat ware like CuteFTP or these otehr FTP cleints that try to do everything. I really like it.

I love this ftp client too. The only thing that bothers me is that it doesn't automatically transfer files in the queue upon connect for those sites that take forever to get on to. If it did, then this program would be perfect. However, I still plan on using this over every other ftp client because it is far better.

LeapFTP is a very good client. It is very stable and solid, and has just the right features without fluff or bloat. I highly recommend this program.

This is by far my favorite FTP client. The queue is very nice, and the client doesn't get in the way, but still provides all the features I need. Very configurable. In the past, I have had a few problems with dropped connections, but this has been fixed in this version.
