My Desktop Messenger came bundled with a mouse & keyboard. Spybot identified it as Spyware. So it's gone.
Logitech make top quality products so why spoil it with pointless nonsense? It only annoys potential customers.

Ditto everyone here... Hilarious: drivers haven't been updated in over a year, but the utility that fetches them has! (Anyone remember that ill-fated WebWheel?)
Logitech needs to simplify the process of updating peripheral drivers WITHOUT resorting to that resource hogger AND meandering/misleading web interface:
the way the process is setup one is guided to FIRST select one's model-- but not ALL keyboard & mouse models are listed!! Even worse, drivers package is usually identical irregardless of model & OS chosen! Come on, just list a simple menu box with the handful or so downloads. (It's better to save time & just directly ftp BTW)
And,,,,, to bring back earlier Dos versions of Mouse.exe, which were arbritrarily changed with nary a mention of why, what changes were made(earlier versions were much smaller while cloakable, to conserve precious conventional mem), AND don't auto-delete this Dos driver with every upgrade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then one boots to dos & has no mouse! This is how the older dos driver got forever lost: auto deleted w/ some update & as well permanently/arbritrarily removed from logitech site! Even more asinine: the driver upgrade will add an extra line to config.sys) pointing to the location of the removed driver-- and still even more asinine: even when that identical line already exists it keeps adding one after another one! What if one wants to instead have that line in autoexec.bat or config.dos?? (yes, the driver can be placed in a different folder, & changing dos version to 4dos eliminates many inherent dos conventional memory limitations/issues... but that's not the point).

I totaly agree they need to make more linux drivers this is just usless software...

Totally agree with alexweber15, make us some Linux drivers instead of yet another useless and memory-eating program.
