Works fine with my laptop synaptics drivers. Make sure you have the latest synaptics driver as well.

Offers
*4 Acceleration levels as well as motion speed
*Screen scrolling size wheel adjustments
*Middle button function assigning
*Medium Black, Lefty and Extra large cursors
*Possibly other support depending on mouse model

For a 4mb download that makes using your Logitech mouse feel better and smoother it's worth it. Much nicer than using the default usb microsoft driver.

This version 9.79.x detects the laptop touchpad and only enables usb mice support as it installs.

When I install this on my laptop I completely lose touchpad functionality... I can't believe Windows drivers are actually better than this.

Free...but totally bloatware. WinME/2k/XP utilizes the buttons of a mouse, doesn't install unnecessary software, and doesn't add a whole bunch of worthless files.

These continue to be among the most trouble-free hardware drivers I've dealt with. I've seen no significant issues with this version or any other for over two years now.

Still does not work with Opera...

If it works with Opera (middle = Autoscroll + MS compatible scrolling activated), other Software does not.

Good hardware (design) but bad drivers

Do the mouseware drivers work with KVM's on win98se yet?
Every ver I've tried loses mousewheel support if you switch between computers.

It installs fine under win2003. All you need to do is install with WinXP compatibility. (Right click the file, and chosse properties, then compatibility)

This is a very very good mouse driver. However, the setup refuses to launch on Windows 2003. Actually the drivers do work on the newest MS OS, if you install them manually. But you don't have access to the logitech advanced control panel (or what it's called), as it is installed by the main setup program. Please Logitech guys fix this !

Woohoo, they finally made it. With the keystroke feature the thumb button on my dual optical works now perfectly in games. Now im able to click and hold the button. With prefious versions of MW that hasn't work. Nice work logitech, but you took really long to fix this. Anyway 5 full stars

1. New Keystroke button assignment - the feature will allow the customer to program their mouse buttons to keyboard keys.

Please use Keystroke to address users that have issues with the "Close Application" button assignment not closing the active windows. Set the button you wish to close your applications with to keystroke, then
program this feature to Alt-F4.

What in the WORLD were they thinking? That 'Disable in Games' function is awful. While using Winamp3 (OK, so I'm not one to talk), the entire mouse just gets fubar'd... then on top of that, you have to make sure the focus is off the offending app before the mouse will function properly again. I'm back on 973 now. DON'T GET THIS SET!

not tried fully, one main point the ebay icon is clearly showen when you install the program if you look, prob best to get adult to help you in future :) just take the tick out the box and it wont put the shortcut on desktop when it installs. Explorer is scrolling fine, no blue screens.
As normal read and reviews with care due to so many losers who post crap just to be funny.

A step backward: this version gives you a dead webwheel on lots of older applications. Only traditionalists will like rerurning to the old click-click-click on the scroll bar. Also missing: the "Use MS Office Compatible Scroll Only" checkbox in the Buttons tab. Given the damaged scroll function, maybe MS Office Compatible Scroll is all there is now.
