Publisher's Description
MP3 Observer Home will organize your MP3-files in minimum amount of time. Browse your harddisk or other media for files, import them into the database, edit the ID3Tags, check and repair mp3 files, create playlists, export the database, create CD-archives, and browse your database with an interface. You may import any type of file automatically and open the file with your associated file viewer. Use the integrated Shoutcast Stream Capture, the CD ripper, internal crossfade player, BPM Counter, and MP3 encoder/decoder.

This software isn't beta - it's alpha.
This software does NOT include a CD Ripper.
This software does NOT do mp3 encoding (out of the box).
Problems:
1 - software adds .wma to batch renames (when they're clearly mp3 files!)
2 - Is there a function to auto refresh the database (without the need to delete 2000+ files and re-import them!)??? If there is, I couldn't find it.
3 - right click MUST be able to select a data row (standard UI these days)
4 - Let me edit the data directly on the row instead of the tedious navigation currently available.
5 - The CD ripper does NOT exist.
6 - MP3 Encoding does NOT exist (yes, I know why, but that's not how your pitch reads, is it?)
OK - I'm off to rename over 50 files from *mp3.wma back to *.mp3 - by hand. Thanks. Thanks a lot. (NOT)
