AnalogX has an excellent memory "clearing" program that removes latent strings that build up even after progs close and remain resident. ...and its FREE!

Any "memory performance improvement" tool in XP or 200 is a scam - plain and simple. Those OSs self-tune - period.

Amen to that. I've long been dismayed by this genre of software. I don't know if the authors of such applications are genuinely believe that their applications actually increase performance by swapping all swappable pages to disk or if they are simply con-artists. This stuff should be sold with p**** enlargement pills.

More shamware. From the author site: "Increases available computer memory up to 300%". Isn't that interesting? That's a deceptive way of saying "Forces stuff in memory onto the page file". This whole software genre is a joke. Want more memory? Buy some more RAM. Want to just free up memory? Close some applications. Want to waste money and cause system problems? Run this utility.
