This is not a Plus! clone and there is place to more than one MSN Messenger addin. Right now I'm using MP on one machine and this on the other, You can tell that a lot of work was put into this one and it is pretty good.

hey guys i have version 2 of msn messenger plus by patchou, i get all beta first of most soft. i will tell you that patchou new version is out there, look in kazaa where i have it posted, enjoy from malcolmsuperstar in Vancouver, ps works lovely on msn messenger5

Hi all,
I'm just posting to balance PainKiller vote. I agree with everything the others posters sais about MP2. I would like to see that banner removed from the history window as "glide" noted. also I'm expirencing few problems when trying to view the history messages. When I click some date it dosent give me something but the banner

Nice little alternative to Messenger Plus you have here... Please, author, if you're reading this: add the feature to hide or show contacts and I'm bought ;)

Dear Painkiller, are you fool? use your brain, dont saying stupid that this program steal MSGPLUS idea, is Patchou make that msgplus from his own idea??? Patchou never follow any others idea from ICQ or something else? Who provided fully support for MSN5 first? is MSNHelper or MP2? as what i know, MP2 had been delay and delayed, and latest had been delayed to 7th Jan, just for some extra uneeded function, i believe he is stealing idea from ICQ, suxxxxk! I like MSNHelper, only provide useful and working function, i can encrypt my chat log so others cannot read without permission, can MSGPLUS provide this? if in the future realease MSGPLUS2 provide encryption to chat log too, then Patchou is stealing idea from MSNHelper!!!! Painkiller, you see the idea now?? Go blame American stealing Chinese idea to use fire powder! Go blame Linux stealing Unix idea to make the OS! Go blame Microsoft stealing Macintosh idea to make Windows!!!! All foolish talk! suck!

Good little program, but Alexi1 is somewhat right in that a default directory isn't automatically selected by Helper at install time. Also the "Messenger Helper" banner in the history window is a little lame. If this is truly freeware, lose the banner -- I know what application I'm using, I don't need a banner to tell me. Otherwise, this might have been a 5 star program.
To 'Painkiller': Please think about what you're posting before saying something stupid. Competition is the basis for innovation. Microsoft didn't invent the spreadsheet application, yet Excel is the best product out there. Also, please actually USE both programs before jumping to conclusions. First, Messenger Plus! doesn't even have a version (yet) for MSN 5, so this fills a current void. Second, they implement logging in COMPLETELY different ways, and show history in COMPLETELY different ways.
To Alexi1: Click the "Helper!" menu, select "Hide Advt. Banner"

The program have failed to enable logging of its own, but it was possible to see old logs created by "Messenger Plus!". Is it possible to disable an adv banner of the messenger? Is this program compatible with Windows Messenger as well?

This program copy all the stuff from MSN plus, over all for the version 2 the which yet has no been release..
anyway this program steal or the ideas of msn plus...
suck ...use your brain...
