Microsoft has earlier released Office 2010 SP1 which can be downloaded and installed to get the latest updates for Office 2010. Office 2010 Service Pack 1 includes previously unreleased fixes that were made specifically for this service pack along with all the public updates that were released through June 2011, and all the cumulative updates that were released through April 2011. But sadly there were some users who are getting errors while installing Office 2010 Service Pack 1 and to solve those errors Microsoft has released an update for Microsoft Office 2010 which decreases installation failures for updates installed on Microsoft Office 2010.
