Publisher's Description
This DVD5 ISO image file contains the security updates for Windows released on Windows Update. The image does not contain security updates for other Microsoft products. This DVD5 ISO image is intended for administrators that need to download multiple individual language versions of each security update and that do not use an automated solution such as Windows Server Update Services (WSUS). You can use this ISO image to download multiple updates in all languages at the same time.

"This DVD5 ISO image is intended for administrators that need to download multiple individual language versions of each security update"
Wouldn't those admins be the ones MOST LIKELY to already be running WSUS and therefore the LEAST LIKELY to need this !?!?!?!
Dear Microsoft, What we normal folks at home or small business need is a free WSUS lite that we can run on one of our PC's so we can update the other 2 or 10 pc's without needing to download all the updates over and over. -Also- We need an ISO image that contains ALL the updates since Win7 SP1 so that when we build a new system we can apply all the updates at once. (I'm sure Microsoft reads these reviews B-)

There will be no Service Pack 2 upgrade for Windows 7. Microsoft announced that awhile back.

Oodles upon oodles on top of oodles of Microsoft.NET security updates for July 2013. When .NET was first introduced way back when, described by MS as "a set of tools", I knew it would end up being a disaster.

When I see how easily & quietly Linux updates with a re-boot being a rare occasion compared to the hassle of each 'Patch Tuesday' it does make me think more & more the 1% of the population using Linux have got it right & how messed up MS Windows really is -
MS couldn't organize a booze up in a brewery - And yet more fixes for .NET Framework which I hate with a passion ~

some guy: you should get a life. I rate this low too because even though he seems to be a loud mouthed grown up baby about it, he does have a point.

I repair PC's for a living and get alot of windows 7 re-installs and windows update fails miserably, usually have to do a few at a time and takes very long. As the person below said why can't you make the update scan the PC with a third party software and install the updates off the ISO? the bandwidth and time this would save,,,, but then again MS hasn't been well know to actually listen to what thew user wants...
