It was a good software till Windows 7. But It is not compatible with Windows 7 and Windows 8. So we need look for the alternative like Faronics deep freeze. Overall I had good experience with it. It was one of the good application windows has provide.

Hi Gang,
I haven't used this v2.5 beta which ostensibly only ads support for Vista. On XP home with v2.0 they never got it working right in the first place. Once you've locked settings down the same checkboxes fail to unlock those settings. If someone does try v2.5 on XP Home please let me know if this seems to have been fixed.
Thanks,

This is a very useful tool for shared or public computers running Windows XP. It provides a very thorough interface for applying user and system restrictions, allowing for much more control over group policy editing and manual registry configuration. This used to be called the Microsoft Shared Computer Toolkit, but was renamed at version 2, though not all bugs have been corrected.
