Motion Hunter will create a personal Video Security and Surveillance System at home using your computer, Web cam and Motion Hunter. It controls 1 to 4 cameras connected to your computer. When any motion is detected, it wakes up. You can set a certain sound (e.g. a police siren) that will be played to scare off intruders. It can also send you e-mail notifications with a photo snap of the motion or noise event. And you can have streaming video or live audio to view what is happening remotely.
