Publisher's Description
Movica is a non-linear graphical editor for Windows Media (.wmv), MPEG files and FLV movies. Select or delete multiple portions from a video file. The system lets you copy, paste and fine tune the selections. Also supports joining and splitting of video/movie files. Most of the functions are accessible through keyboard shortcuts.

Well the scrubbing part was rather confusing in the previous comment. If you tried other programs with similar results then I suggest you bring your PC in for maintenance at your local pc shop. Not entirely sure if the previous user's comments were unbiased due to his pc problems with this and other video editing programs as he mentioned.
May I suggest that you use Virtual Dub. A small and fast non bloated video editing solution. It's a dynamo pack with features that put some of the bigger commercial ones to shame. It's Open Source and it's actively updated from time to time. Go to: http://www.virtualdub.org/ and check it out.

Unfortunately, this program suffers from the exact same problem that every other program I have ever tried to use to edit MPEG files does: the inability to scrub through a file. The program will let you set one or two mark-ins and mark-outs but as soon as you try and scrub through the video after those points are set the progam hangs and you have to forcibly shut in down using task manager. I really like the program, but until they can figure out how to fix that problem with editing MPEG files, this program will be of no use to me personally.
