Publisher's Description
Mozilla Optimizer is a tool which optimizes Mozilla, Mozilla Firefox and Netscape settings in order to considerably boost page loading. For example, it enables HTTP Pipeling and Keep Alive to keep the TCP overhead low while retrieving the website content. All these changes can be made manually, but this tool makes life a little bit easier.

I think it increases the speed but there are better choices available

see http://ExtensionsMirror.nl for the info you need to make the tweaks yourself. Why risk trusting a mysterious tweaking application?
If you really want to squeeze out some speed google for MOOX and grab an alternate build of firefox

This program delivers as promised.
Notable increased speed loading sites that are not cached.
I cut my teeth on Netscape 10 years ago.
With all the maicious script wrtten for Outlook & outlook express, I have to laugh watching virus after virus exploiting holes in these products, I have never once regretted going with Netscape.
This new program inproves on the original.
Top Shelf - I highly recommend this product.

This is an awesome program that really does speed up firefox (what i tested it on) i prefer to edit my own userfiles and since this is transparent in what it does i love it!
very good for newbs or people that don't want to manually edit files or spend a lot of time in about:config

For those who don't know how to edit config files in gecko browsers this is for you. Me, I like it because anything that can save me 5min. in editing and is free to boot is worth the download. Modifies (user.js) :// Enable pipelining:
user_pref("network.http.pipelining", true);
user_pref("network.http.proxy.pipelining", true);
user_pref("network.http.pipelining.maxrequests", 8);
// This one makes a huge difference. Last value in milliseconds (default is 250)
user_pref("nglayout.initialpaint.delay", 0);
user_pref("content.notify.ontimer", true);
user_pref("content.notify.interval", 100);
user_pref("content.notify.backoffcount", 200);
user_pref("network.http.max-connections", 60);
user_pref("network.http.max-connections-per-server", 32);
user_pref("network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy", 16);
user_pref("network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server", 8);
That's the short & sweet of it. Like I said about 5min. if you have more than one gecko browser.
