Publisher's Description
NetFor2 enables two computers to share the same telephone line and same Internet connection without the need for a computer network. In other words, you don't have to install or add any new hardware to your computers. This program and a serial cable is all you need to connect your two computers to the Internet and pay just one telephone bill, one ISP subscription fee and no concurrent hours cost.

Newer PC's have 230kb serial ports, but normally you have to buy a high speed port add on card. If you have DSL or cable, you'll be stuck to ISDN bandwidth which isn't bad, but for about $30 you can get 2 NIC's and a crossover cable and do the same thing with no speed restriction. Plus, in the end, you can do more with the NIC's.

Serial Ports are 115200, I think the new ones are even faster. Still slow compaired to other things but good enough to share a dialup connection.
