This program sounded like just the thing I needed to create simple maps for conventions and other events that I help organize and promote locally. Unfortunately, I can't run the darn thing. It crashed during the install process due to the little java routine that the software installer uses to put the program on the PC. The one time that it actually did manage to install without crashing, when the program starts it exits out due to (again) the little java applet that the program seems to require, and will not start. The PC it was installed on is running Windows XP SP 2. This is the first program I've ever downloaded from here that has not worked in any form. Unfortunate.
