Publisher's Description

OSsurance stops the execution of any spyware, virus, buffer overflow (BoF), worm, or trojan, which the user does not authorize. This protection acts as an application firewall inside the operating system, allowing only authorized programs to install or to use memory (RAM). OSsurance's Secure Transaction Module (STM) prevents the user's passwords and commerce information in SSL-secured transactions from being stolen by hackers.

This software leaves windows DEP (data execution prevention) and firewalls and antivirus in the mud and was written before DEP came out. It's not looking for names or faces, it's restricting access to system services a the kernel level and denying access to non-authorized (by me) programs and dll's.

It doesn't even let ME install a program without a password when password control is on, and I lost the password once and I was screwed! You can't uninstall (from within windows) without a password, so how in the world is a hacker supposed to set up unwanted software on my PC or try to circumvent OSsurance? It's hilarious. I love it. Also a fun way to stop unwanted people from using specific programs on your PC. No password? Sorry, no execution.

It's powerful, so walk softly.
