It looked promising until the main web page mentioned FaceBook, Twitter, and EverNote. This is just another app that wants to cash in on your privacy. Thanks but I'll stick with Rarma Radio.

Online Radio Tuner in comparing to Radio Screamer:
+ Can schedule recordings once or repeately
+ Ballon Notification can be set ON/OFF
+ Skinsupport
- Database pre-added stations are poor
- Shareware
If it would be FREEWARE than it could beat the populairity of Screamer Radio. I think most of us finds it a little strange that you have to pay for it, the online radio streams are allready there and if it is working on this app it do not need a lot of improving. Looks nice but should be freeware as earlier mentioned..
SprayB reviewed v2.0.5 on Nov 4, 2008
I paid for this software and couldn't be happier.
SprayB reviewed v2.0.4 on Oct 2, 2008
You can set the amount of delay when it should do a song change in your favorites. It's all dependant of when the radio station send the song change information anyway. Not all do send it accurately.
W@KK0 reviewed v2.0.4 on Oct 2, 2008
Does it still clip songs as you record them in such a way that it captures the first 1-10 seconds of the next song then splits the files and continues to keep doing the same?
Cionno reviewed v2.0.4 on Oct 1, 2008
not bad but still prefer winamp to manage shoutcast radio stations (that is enough for me)
imho this app is not worth 40 bucks
SprayB reviewed v2.0.2 on Sep 2, 2008
The program does not crash for me. It works flawlessly and is stable.
davana reviewed v2.0.2 on Aug 22, 2008

Its great that it is now having German language.
The best radio program on the internet.
aaronj reviewed v1.3.5 on Mar 11, 2008
This latest release didn't have some new cool features, which was a bit disappointing.
But still, a great program.
aaronj reviewed v1.3.4 on Jan 22, 2008
Great internet program.
I like it
nelliegreer reviewed v1.3.4 on Jan 22, 2008
I was recommended this program from a friend.
Interesting, so many new stations I have found that I like so much.
I have some troubles getting the timer to work tho.
But all in all, very good.

Wow.
It's getting better and better.
This latest update certainly fixed some of my gripes.
Also, that startup problem is fixed in this release, which bugged me before.
Now, if I just could find some way to organize all my recordings.
Highly recommended.

It still beats them freeware stuff.
This program constantly improves with updates.
Its stable and has a lot of features that others doesn't have.
For me it's a winner.
Album art is great,
quick favorites also.

After using it for about 10 minutes, I find nothing to complain about, it buffers quickly, sounds good, and is easy to use, so I shall rate it as a 5.
However, I evidently missread the description of the software, and downloaded it thinking it was freeware. It is not, and the free download only allows 30 days use.
Therefore, I will go back to my Screamer software, which is still free, and which I also rate a 5. I find very little difference between the two ... Online Radio Tuner looks better, but I usually minimize Screamer anyway.
Hertz reviewed v1.3.1 on Dec 31, 2007
This software is really great.
I love it.
I am using it every day listening to radio stations at work.
For me, it works perfect.
It has a clean user interface and plays nicely with Windows Vista, if you are using that.
As with many other similar programs, a couple of presets doesn't work.
But at least in this software, there is the possibility to right click on a station and report it as not working.
evec reviewed v1.3.0 on Dec 8, 2007
I have tried them all, Screamer, Raima, Replay Radio, Nexus Radio and most recently Radio Stream Player.
But this puppy wins hands down. It has a lot of presets, multiple recording profiles (you can record in either MP3, AAC, WMA or OGG), scheduling, sleek user interface.
Album art is cool, it works pretty well if the station broadcasts correct information.
On the down side: some presets doesn't work. And you must leave the program running in order for the schedules to work.
joltdude reviewed v1.3 Beta 2 on Oct 31, 2007
Have used this application for a long time.. then it started not working in later variants.... due to a twitchy Realtek AC97 driver (even when brought current).... This latest beta allows you to switch to software only mixing which solves the distortion problem I know I had with earlier versions... Not gonna argue that the registration is a little bit on the high side, but the author seems to go above and beyond the call of regular customer support in finding a resolution to this major issue with me. I will also admit I donated to this before it was no longer freeware and was glad I did.

If it had skins it would be the best tuner out there, the interace is pretty crappy but hopefully skins are on the way!

FANTASTIC!!! :-)
psycros reviewed v1.1.6 Beta on Mar 21, 2006
Nice look, layout and functionality. However, just like the last beta, it crashes about 12 seconds into any stream and loops the last .5 seconds eternally. Running WinXP w/SP-2, latest criticals, .Net 1 & 2 on NForce2 w/1gb RAM.
Perth, Australia reviewed v1.1.6 Beta on Mar 21, 2006

It's good, but you could always use Windows Media Player's Radio feature to listen to internet streams.
Of course, WMP doesn't have recording capabilities.
sn1p34 reviewed v1.1.2 Beta on Mar 9, 2006
It requires and operating system....... god stop complaing about what it requires, and rate the program it self. Don't give a good program a bad rating because you are to lazy to install .net... If you can make a better alternative that does not require .net then show us... till then stop complaing.
devreser reviewed v1.1.2 Beta on Mar 8, 2006
Very easy to use. Drag and drop yellow tune-in button to tuner from Shoutcast is a snap. Thank You.

barnstapleuk reviewed v0.1.011 Beta on Feb 8, 2006
This has the potential to be a great program. Whilst playing 1.fm, it takes up 5.5mb of ram and occasional flashes of 3% on the processor. Ilike the way the track information pops up. It is one of two ways. Like the windows balloon, or MSN notifier style. It can alos be close to task bar, so it is out of the way and no accidental closing.
What I didn't like was the lack of preset stations or any way of adding them in an automatic or semi automatic way. You can find the url, then copy and paste or type the address in. This is quite backwards nowadays. Alos timer record would be nice as well as a track history.
Otherwise the program has potential and it looks like the programmer/s are open to suggestion.
exit reviewed v0.1.011 Beta on Feb 7, 2006
I gave it a quick try and it works you need to give more detail as what formats are supported recording in windows media would be nice not sure if it plays in stereo and a
Preset scheduling of recording of radio stations would be a plus as there are many
That record but few that offer a VCR type of scheduling of radio stations and a
Screen shot is always nice of a program nice small file size and clean interface.
drumcat reviewed v0.1.011 Beta on Feb 7, 2006
No presets. No examples. This is an example of the programmer assuming.
No doubt it's a polished, stock .net2 UI. A slick UI and immediate usability are two very different things.
