Publisher's Description
OptimFROG is a lossless audio compression program. Its main goal is to reduce at maximum the size of audio files, while permitting bit identical restoration for all input. It is similar with the ZIP compression, but it is highly specialized to compress audio data.
OptimFROG obtains asymptotically the best lossless audio compression ratios. It has Windows, Linux, and Mac versions, fully featured input plug-ins for the Windows Media Player, foobar2000, Winamp2/3/5, dBpowerAMP, XMPlay, QCD, and XMMS audio players (with bitstream error resilience, ID3v1.1 and APEv2 read tagging support, ID3v2 compatible), optimal support for all integer PCM wave formats up to 32 bits and an extensible streamable (error tolerant) compressed format. It is also fast, the default mode encodes CD quality audio data at 12.4x real-time and decodes at 17.4x real-time on AMD Athlon XP 1800+ (the fastest mode encodes at 28.1x real-time and decodes at 24.7x real-time).

well i happen to disagree! its still progress, one of these days i want to get all my ordinary music cd's transfered to the pc.
i will use the best one at the time, even if its not smaller in size than mp3(pro).
the name for this is awesome to, while ppl hate frog ringtones i like them. ;-)

Asymptote: A line whose distance to a given curve tends to zero. An asymptote may or may not intersect its associated curve.
Asymptotically is an adverb.
So, yeah - your english is outdated and you're just plain ignorant (since a simple check to a dictionary would have prevented/altered your post). I hope there's another reason you gave the program such a low rating.....

before getting to the program, please refresh my knowledge of english ? asymptotically, is that my english out of date or a new word meaning what ? to neoprimal: as I stated before getting to the program...anyway thanks for explaining me that word. makes sense. now i actually got the program to work. and no there's the only reason i started giving the low rate was because of not understanding it and yes you are right, pretty ignorant from me to not just look it up before writing this review. i stand and take the critic. this is my modification os my somewhat ignorant reaction and I do hope this correction will do the program justice...it deserves it...
