The program seemed to work ok but after it finished scanning the main window of the program shrunk to almost nothing. It was impossible to resize the window to be ablt to work with the program. Upon contacting "tech support" this morning, over 24 hours ago, have not gotton a response back about the question I asked.
You could say the support is about as reliable as their product. Waste of a download.

The scan was fast and effective, it found a hidden trojan that no other scanner had detected. There is some additional work that needs to be done on the registration page. Registration page will not close. The system tray icon does not work properly. The exit and exit don't run selections do not work. There is no disable button.

Very nicely done! I've found many improvements since the last version. Interface is becoming more user-firendly and, what is most of importance, scanning speed seems to be increased. Also like new option of curing infected files and new mail scan module. Overeall, gread job!

On the main page, it tells you the License type (freeware, shareware, adware, etc), and when you click 'more information' for a program, this info is given again as "Program Type".
To everyone expecting all beta software to be free, I say: Wake up. Not all software is open source or is created by individuals needing no more reward than a smile or a friendly email or review. Some actually ask for money to help them continue their good work.
As for wanting a separate section for shareware; I do not see this as necessary. Just pay attention before downloading a program and you will know if something is free and will stay free. If BetaNews does not give adequate information, consider clicking the link pointing to the software manufacturers' homepage. Certainly that will have all the info you should need. BetaNews nor FileForum should provide a copy of all this info; that is what the homepage of the product is for.
Please do not be lazy people and expect everything on a silver platter. Instead of complaining about things missing, try finding out things yourself. Is the Internet not seen as a place where everything can be found?
Kind regards.
