Not bad. Does what it says. I wish it would detect that I already have .NET framework 1.1 and 2.0 installed before it wastes time downloading it again though. Nice little utility. Whoever the idiot was that said PSP will play "any MPEG" should be slapped. What a moron. PSP only plays MPEG-4, period. I wish 2.80 would have added playback support for WMV, AVI or MPEG(2) but alas, Sony isn't going there.

I tryed to install the software on my pc and was realy shocked that the software loaded the .net framework and installed it without request or warning on my computer. Since I don't have much space on my C: drive... this was the deathblow for my system.
After a system reboot (or crash) I did not even found a uninstall option in my system management console.
Really a poor peace of software.
I can not recommand to install this programm.

i love how ignorance has lead to the only poor reviews so far. for instance, the psp actually does not play any mpeg you put in it. it has to be mpeg-4.
i haven't tested the latest version, but the one i've used was great. it could be a little faster, and the option to merge videos would be handy. it's a fantastic program (even better than any pay program), but not quite perfect. keep up the great work.

Ummmmmm.... You guys know that a PSP will play any MPEG, right?... How is this possibly better than any other video conversion tool you could use to convert to mpeg? The only advantage I see is that it would transfer directly to the PSP's own memory, rather than your memory stick... but then again, I don't think the PSP has internal memory. At least not enough to store any video...
So seriously, what's the point?

I agree with the comment below, if you don't know what a software does, why download it? if you havn't tried it, why rate it?
Anyway, I tried it out with my PSP, *free* solution I have found so far!

Why on earth would you rate it at all, let alone even make a review on it in the first place if you didn't use it?

RE: previous comment.
it clearly states "between your PC and PSP."
if you know what a pc is
just find out what a psp
is.
for future use.
psp - playstation portable
gba - gameboy advance
gbc - gameboy color
ps2 - playstation 2
psx - playstation 1
ps1 - playstation 1
etc, etc...
this program is free, there is
another paid for awailable but
i don't know the differences.
i'd probably go with the free one
for now. :)

Dont assume that everyone knows what a PSP is, I had to dig right into the PSP Video 9 web site, before I found out.
I'm giving the software a middle rating as, although I did download it, it wasnt till I managed to finally find out what a PSP was, that I realised I had no use for it.
