The latest version of Pandion is 2.6.114. It seems that the project has been abandoned, the official web-site is down, but the project is available at SourceForge- http://sourceforge.net/projects/pandion/ .

We had to throw together an instant messaging solution within a week at my place of work. We chose Soapbox for the server side. We tried to use the latest Soapbox client, but it was very flaky. I ended up trying the Pandion client, especially after finding out that a lot of other Jabber/XMPP clients are based upon it. It works great. We are in a live test mode right now and have had no issues to speak about.

Nikkie, I use Pandion 2.12 beta from http://www.pandion.be/up...andion-2.1.2%20beta.exe and I have to write that aliases for the names work, Yahoo transport perfectly works (at least at chrome.pl, which I consider as one of the best Jabber servers in the world), adding other networks works, names does not have to have the yyy@xxx.zz form (you can rename any contact you want, except your own case)
Pity that Pandion does not support multiple servers. Maybe in the future. The rest is really excellent.

Awesome, it's nice to use, fast, easy, not bloatware. Nice piece of software, I was using ICQ and MSN, I am now using a single Jabber account over SSL.
The best jabber client out there, and possibly the best IM client.
Please, do not bloat it ! =D
