Publisher's Description
Parental Lock Guard is a comprehensive application ideal for guarding your PC. With the powerful defending mechanism, it can not be stopped in any usual way (without administrators password) known to the large people population: no close button, usual "X" buttons, no Task Manager "End process" or any "third party" software utility that can shut it down. That is also the biggest difference from the other applications with the same contents.

I have no kids, but a friend at work, Danny, mentioned he was having trouble getting his son to stop playing with the computer at night. He just wanted a shut-off timer, with some count-down warnings. I found this program at FF/BN and downloaded it for him. He reported that it worked OK, but that it was also controlling other aspects of the computer in addition to the shut-down time, and his son was being repeatedly prompted for passwords, so Danny decided to remove Parental Lock Guard. Apparently the uninstaller does not completely remove all traces of the installation, and Danny had to use Mike Lin's StartUpControlPanel to remove the left-over registry entries that keep requiring a boot-up password, even after Parental Lock Guard had been "uninstalled."
