Post2Blog is a handy desktop blogging client for Blogger, WordPress, TypePad, Movable Type powered blogs. It is capable of posting from Word, Firefox, Internet Explorer, sending pictures to blog from Explorer. You can insert images, create hyperlinks, link words to online dictionaries. Images and linked files are automatically uploaded (FTP is supported as well). You can use Word to compose new posts in Word and post them using Post2Blog toolbar for Word. Built-in multi-language spellchecker and thesaurus. UNICODE text is supported. Capable of pinging web-services and send trackbacks automatically.

I agree, this is a keeper. I had trouble with text wrapping around images rather than blocking the image properly. The HTML code was correctly written, the editor would not render it properly. All these good blog editors are pricey, but if you're not using the built-in editor of your blog, Post2Blog is your best bet.

This, IMO, is the best of the bunch of blog tools out there. Operates quickly and does a credible job. Still has some soft spots as it needs user-defined hot-keys for some commands/features and a method of adding snippets to the HTML page(s).
