Was pretty amazing to listen to the chat on the computer again. Now all we need is the registration server and then we can streamline the service once again. = )

My, what an intelligent review by munchkin (forget the haxor crud). *ahem* I will give pow-wow the fact that it has been around for a long time. Much longer than MSIM in fact. Personally, I like the interface and options that ICQ impliment, so just call me an ICQ loser I guess.

tribal voice messed up with this Upgrade. I haven't seen the other brandings such as IMHERE, but this powwow update should never have been released to the public. Frankly - It's horrible. The font size of the buddy list is too large and can't be adjusted. The buttons on top are huge, and rarely used and can't be taken away. The text-voice tool tips "Feature" is stupid. The right click menu has that Neo-Planet feel that seperates one command from the other and makes them harder to select. As well as a few crashes and a lot of operational difficulties with answering machine.
And face it... implementing AIM and MSN IM's ? Yeah right!
The two plus sides - it seemed to allow me to change my email address on the fly, registering me for a new name and maintaining my buddy list... and finally the IM's "record" what you say, and have the option for copying it to the clipboard.
What should Tribal do to "fix it" ? go back to 3.7, and just implement the new IM's as well as an option to save Personal Communicator chats. Everything else is just messing up an already nice and small, but effective program.
** NOTE ** Since Powwow uses the registry, you can copy the old version to a new directory before upgrading it to version 4, and run 3.7 and 4 on the same machine... using the same buddy list. I prefer to run 3.7 myself.

For all of those ICQ losers out there, AOL didn't buy out tribal voice, tribal voice just got a hold of the source code from AOL. PowWow is much better and kicks the living butt out of ICQ and all of you losers who worship ICQ, are jealous that there is one program that is much better. And for those who don't know what PowWow looks like, then it looks nthing like the picture above, for that picture is of the previous version. It isn't just another chat program, it is a way of life, and it has far better communication without having to download additional components.

ICQ is ok but the chat is NOT instant
I like the Yahoo or PowWow voice . is clear & no downloading required ...

No it is not anything like ICQ. It doesn't have a faction of the features and functionality that ICQ offers.

It's not meant to be ICQ. Its simply just another chat program. Since AOL bought it, it lets you have AOL buddies etc. It has nothing to do with ICQ.

Is it better than ICQ, would like to know before I download?
Thanks
