Publisher's Description

PractiCount Toolbar integrates into MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint as a toolbar and provides a detailed text count report with a click. The report contains detailed break-down for each document section (footnotes, endnotes, headers, footers, textboxes/shapes, comments, WordArt, inserted MS Office files, etc.). When finished writing or editing, just click the button in Word, Excel, or PowerPoint and the program will generate a comprehensive report (exportable to Word or Excel) that you can use for accounting or billing purposes. The report function, with multiple language support, will show you a detailed break-down on the amount of text each document section contains.

Unlike MS Word, PractiCount can count footers, headers, text boxes, inserted Excel and PowerPoint documents, comments, WordArt and more. This program also includes other great tools, such as a round off option and a word frequency counter.

The Professional version has all the features of the Standard version plus: counting formatted text, counting text in text fields, word frequency tool, hotkey support, and an Agent button opening and closing the PractiCount toolbar.

I cannot deny this is an incredible program, but the price is pure chutpah! Just to iterate: MS Word costs no more than $79-$99 (or Office itself for $121), and they're wanting $80 for this?! The interface could use some tweaking, and I'd love to have it, but I'll never pay the same price for an ADD-ON that I would for the source program. Amazing.
