Publisher's Description
ProtoPad is essentially a content management wysiwyg rich text editor, designed primarily for webmasters, and anyone who needs to generate content where a lot of the other online editors and text boxes just won't do. This application lets you both generate content and the HTML output in a word processor-styled interface. This is also the perfect application for someone who is interested in Internet Explorer as a development platform. It can be configured to send its content to an ASP page, PHP page, CGI or PERL script or even your email client in much the same way a form would.
The interface is designed to toggle back and forth between design and code mode, showing you the code that defines your content as you type. It has full support for OLE objects, applets, hyperlinks and anything else you would need to put into a HTML file. Some of its features include; common "open" and "save" dialogs, quick table wizard, FTP wizard, Color Palette, email support, ability to launch MS Notepad, and of course all of the standard text editing toolbar functions.

ProtoPad... Really excellent html editor. Eventhough written in JavaScript using the MSHTML platform it is lightweight, fast and offers great features and almostunlimited possibilities for web designers and developers. Keep the good work up, Kenny!

Strange way to run an application but it appears to be lightweight and does the simple stuff pretty good.
