Why use this when KeePass is free and is capable of making more and better things than RandPass?

RandPass has split up into Lite and Pro editions, where Lite is limited to non-commercial usage without any further limits imposed.
The project simply could no longer survive without financial support, in order maintain the development. There is a full explanation and reasoning behind this unfortunate but a necessary move published on the forum, please read it here: http://www.den4b.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=1851
In regards to "smaragdus" comment. I am very sorry to hear about your disappointment, but I hope that it will be compensated by the continued development and support for years to come, rather than a dead project and complete abandonment of all products.

RandPass is not freeware since it costs 9.95 EUR. The developer of RandPass made all his products payware.
