Searching the web for "errcode 1702" from my system-logfile I found a bunch of hints to RegCure.
Searching on for "RegCure" I found this:

Re: Experiences with RegCure?
This program is unnecessary as an appendix.
If the PC is running well, you need not do anything.
Even reputable programs always sign a bunch of items that could be removed.
However, they do not bother any more than if you have in your bookcase books that nobody reads.
Dubious programs call them as an "error" to make people afraid.
Reputable tests repeatedly show that deleting such entries has no effect on the PC's speed and its reliability.
... even if there is written "Microsoft partner" ?!
Well, maybe I am a MSPartner, too, because I'm driving XP?!
