Deleting registry keys does not improve performance, unless you delete many thousands and thousands of them, from having an ultra-huge registry that consumed too much memory. But if you have that problem, the system is probably unusable for other reasons.
The funny thing is that if this were freeware, people would be rating it a 5.

Yes I agree this; i delete the registry entry, then I change it complete - and could "adjust" every version which I would like.
Very very strange suspect, this manner of the version specification!
The next impertinence in this shareware version:
The real function of deleting is locked; shall the nonsense what?
May we test the software now or not?
Stupid idea from the author !

In reality it concerns the version 1.25.
The version number is produced only over a Registry entry.
Check it; you find the version in the registry-key
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\InfoWorks Technology\RegDoctor\RegDoctor_Version\Version" .
You can test it self:
If you change it (for example) to 2.00, RegDoctor show now version 2.0.
If you delete the complete key, you see a interesting effect. Regdoctor show then in the "About" dialog Version 1.25 .
Also it is not a version 1.56 !?!?
I assume strongly, that the autor does not develop the program further, he change ONLY the entry in the Registry - that's all !
Is this really a fake or a trick?
Plays the author with us?

This version is "crippled" too. Due to the restrictions absolutely useless. The author should install other restrictions (e.g. 10 days run time limit), ant then it can lock a lot of functions. But so this is intolerable. Therefore i give a low rate.

Easy to use and works great. It is also very fast. You get what you paid for. Strongly recommend it.

Sorry for this negative vote:
But this software is absolutly "crippled" because in the sharewareversion you can only repair 20 % of the found problems.
According to my opinion the program is to be time-moderately limited (maybe 5 days). Into this period it must works without restrictions.
But not in this way !!
