I began using RegHealer in mid-January this year because of uniformly rave reviews at Wilder's Security Forums. It is rock steady, and has cleaned out lots of deadwood that my other registry cleaners (Ace Utilities, RegSeeker, CCleaner) overlooked.

RH has proven to be speedy, very safe, and very effective. It automatically does a full registry back-up, plus it saves the registry items deleted by each scrub session. I recommend it highly.

Used & registered version 3 & 4, there was a bug in the first version of 4 that caused a crash if you did not save a backup but that was sorted some time ago. After several years of use the only problem it ever caused was with PSP 8 regarding temp files which caused PSP to non function, sorted by adding the key to the miss list. Otherwise I can say no problems, the only issue I have is it isn't the fastest scanner around & 'Macecraft RegSupreme' seems to do almost the same job in a quarter of the time. However still a must have.

Early versions (3.x.x) where fine. Actually i've registered this util and was very happy using it.
Latest 4.0.xx releases are the WORST PIECE of code i've ever seen.
Buggy and always crashes on any computer i've tested. RH author just asked update fees for the 4.0 (which i've pay.
He never answered my error reports and never fix a single one.
In fact he closed his support forum to avoid error report spreading !!!

Don't USE it any more

Nice program.
It found more "errors" as NORTON Regcleaner and System-Mechanics. I have rate 5 points because it is the first tool, that can complete work and clean the registry files under WIN9x

One of must have applications. Although you better look through registry fixes it is offering. One particular problem is with Yahoo Companion. Registry Healer removes all traces of Yahoo Companion from registry.

Smooth... I like it. For those of us that can't afford Norton SystemWorks (to have WinDoctor) or it won't run on our OS (that'd be me -- Windows 2000 Advanced Server), this is a great tool to keep around.

New in version 2.1
- new more intellectual scanning algorithm;
- main menu was added and some interface changings (so it is possible to use keyboard only with the program);
- bug with closing RegHealer while it scans registry was fixed;

It does what it says it does, cleans the registry, just dont try closing it while its scanning or it will crash running 2000. I would say closer to 3.5 but i'll give it a four.
