Publisher's Description
Remote Task Manager is a system control interface that can be run from any remote PC. This lets users control most aspects of the remote environment. The simple-to-use tabbed interface separates applications, services, processes, and events, making each of these quite simple to manage. Users can start or stop services, add new services, and manage the run level. The process function and the task manager allow remote termination and adjusting of priority. An event viewer lets users view all events as though they were in front of the host computer. It even supports remote install, enabling users to set up the service on remote machines without ever having to physically go to them.

Fantastic tool, only issue I had was connected to my work servers through a cable modem VPN (PPTP) to my office (cable modem) was the program seems to process much data as the app hung after every change while the data was being transmitted. So it seems like the app has hung and stays locked in the foreground... that's it. Maybe caching the details/changes until you select 'apply' would greatly help out the overall performance for accessing remote systems as I can't imagine using this on a dialup connection.
