Publisher's Description
Rendezvous enables automatic discovery of computers, devices, and services on IP networks. Also known as zero-configuration networking, Rendezvous uses industry standard IP protocols to allow devices to automatically find each other without the need to enter IP addresses or configure DNS servers. Rendezvous is an open protocol, which Apple has submitted to the IETF.
Rendezvous allows Windows machines to discover advertised HTTP and FTP servers using Internet Explorer. It also includes a printer setup wizard which allows Windows machines to print to Rendezvous networked printers, including USB shared printers. With the included Rendezvous SDK, Windows and Java developers can begin the process of adding Rendezvous service discovery to their applications.

it does what it is supposed to do.
I don't really expect a 'Printer Wizard' to show you HTTP or FTP Servers on your network...
Good job, and it is free!

This enables me to use printer installed on AirPort base station which I have my printer hooked up.
Also, it is nice as you can refer other computer blahblah.local, without having DNS.

I guess it's OK. I installed it on my Windows XP Pro laptop. After opening Internet Explorer I was able to click on a Rendezvous button and it found all printers in the company. Didn't find anything else. We do have HTTP and FTP servers that it didn't find at all. It sort of seemed like a play toy. Hopefully it will get better and also enable chat between people behind a local LAN. I know Trillian does this already.
I'd say it's just "OK" because I have no idea how you would actually use this for a good purpose.
