Publisher's Description
RipCast Streaming Audio Ripper encapsulates SHOUTcast technology, allowing you to easily save streams to your computer as individual MP3 files. It deciphers metadata allowing you to split songs by title. After the download starts, songs are automatically launched in your default MP3 player. Offers a Napster-like interface, letting you browse for the type of music you like, and then you are fed one song after another from the genre and station you choose. It supports all SHOUTcast streaming audio. New songs are added to your Winamp playlist as they download so the music never stops, yet each song is a different MP3 file. All dropped connections are automatically reconnected and downloading resumes.

As stated, it's not perfect in splitting songs. There are also some other (better) alternatives that capture *ALL* audio played through the sound card (Replay Music) that are more useful in other applications. (Ripcast only works with recording Shoutcast-type streams.)

Very easy to use... good layout... only problem is it's not perfect at splitting the songs... 1.5 beta should be out next week... promises fixes
