SQLBackupAndFTP can schedule daily jobs to backup your SQL Server and SQL Server Express databases, zip the backups, FTP the backups to a remote FTP Server or save it on the LAN, send you an e-mail confirmation on job's success or failure.
Free version is limited to 2 scheduled database backups.

You can create and schedule backups very easily, local or remote, send them to a FTP repository. Plus, detailed reports about backup job results are sent to you email.

I'd like it. It's a simple to use but excellent program allows you to make backups (include scheduled backups) using SQL Server
