It works as described, though I have a few reservations after a couple of hours of use:
1. Some confusions as to configuring other computers to synchronize with the main unit.
2. It loads itself on Windows startup - I much prefer it runs as and when OL loads and exits with it.
3. It removes the synchronization setup if it cannot detect the network, say your computer goes offline, and have to reconfigure for synchronization again.
I haven't tried synchronizing over the Internet since my interest in the product is the ability to sync OL over a local network, but it would be nice to sync to a folder on the local network without a Peer-to-Peer service installed. Right now, the application checks for one on 1st run, and the user must install and configure FolderShare before setup synchronization. I have configured the application to point to the same folder on a local network and it is then possible to uninstall FolderShare thereafter and still be able to synchronize.... very nice, but not sure if it's meant to be intentional to behave that way.
The company is currently offering beta tester a home edition license at the end of a 90 day trial after filling out a survey, so it's worth a giving this a try even though you need to run an additional service (namely FolderShare) to get the job done - it would be perfect to sync over a local network without FolderShare being installed in the 1st place. No price on business licenses yet, but I am looking forward to getting it when v1 gets released.
UPDATE: The company replied to my email finally, and they have stated network storage support would be added later.
