Why are they distributing with the license control eSellerateControl350.dll?
It looks to me that after beta, it will be converted to commercial/shareware. In that case, FeedDemon (http://fileforum.betanew.../FeedDemon/1057594119/1), is a much better approach.

A great, stable reader with nice features. It's a serious resource hog, though, and feels pretty bloated.

I don't know what are the speed issues with the other users. Takes about 3-4sec to open & about 1sec to close.
The best RSS reader I have used so far & it is FREE!

App sounded like something I really wanted to try. Installed clean, but would not start up. PC is running 1.1 .NET framework. Error message on startup:
"An exception 'System.TypeInitializationException' has occurred in saucereadergui.exe."

As another reader told, it takes a long time to open and close. No Help menu ever came up for me. Attempted to change a feed to a different link on same site, would not allow. Crashed. Sent many reports to synop, never got a reply.
Requires DOT NET which turns my machine to clag. Not enought features to persevere with, except an attractive Outlook 2003 lookalike gui. I aint going to RSS Bandit, that needs dot net too, and it crashed far to frequently for my comfort.

It seems very bulky and takes too much time to open and close.

i only gave it a 4 because it crashes on exit 9x out of 10.. although i do run it 24/7 so i dont miss any goodies. =)

I agree this is the best RSS reader i've found, even compared to FeedDemon. RSS Bandit is a close second. The developers are very responsive and involved and the program is developing quickly. Each release gets faster and less buggy. Memory usage is an issue, but it seems to be a common problem for RSS readers in general. Minimizing the application to the tray also greatly reduces the usage.

This is the best feed reader I have come across on Windows so far! It's fast, stable, packed with good features and wrapped in a nicely executed interface. The only downsides are memory usage (the side effect of being a .NET app) and some occasional hickups I had, but those are mostly forgiven once you start using it. Definately worth a try.
