Scope 2.0 final. Good work, Fahim. Nothing new, yet a few bugfixes. I didn't notice any changes since it never crashed on me, but a few others seemed to have had problems. It's not my default browser right now (I'm not online that often anymore), so I probably haven't used Beta 3 enough to encounter any bugs; but it's still a great browser. You can find 2.0 final on Fahim's website.

Don't believe the spam below about NetCaptor being bloated... how can 820KB be bloated? NetCaptor kicks!!!

My favorite browser is Netcaptor, just because of its features. However,Scope has surprised me with its speed and stability. It could use a Pop-up crusher and a few other amenities that Netcaptor has.I find myself switching to Scope quite often for its quickness in getting to sites.I hope to see some added features, that at the same time won't slow it down.

Good idea, but lacks a few important things like using the favorites menu order that IE uses and providing drag and drop favorites organization.

Very fast and responsive. Not as bloated as Net Captor Pro.This is definitely a keeper.

From my understanding Scope uses the IE rendering engine (or mozilla) and should thus be regarded as an alternative IE GUI which is beefed up with Linkgroups etc. That's why it uses IE's "download features." There are a few glitches left but other than that, Scope is definitely worth checking out!

Very nice program. Works with the few common website that I've tried, and would be a very valid substitution for internet explorer... unfortionatly, while it is small, it uses 7x as much RAM as internet explorer! It obviously uses internet explorer's download features etc. I wonder if it uses all the DLLs. Very work looking back into in the future!

It was nice that it did not install itself, you just unzip it and run it. However, as soon as I tried using the Mozilla engine, it gave me an access violation error, and locked up. No problem, since there was no installation, just delete the thing.
I have to agree, NetCaptor is probably the best alternative to IE, even though you have to have IE on your system (as most of us do using Winders).
It was always worth the try, but I'll pass on this one and future versions, too. Been using NetCaptor since versions 4 came out, and it truly is a good thing.
Sorry if this sounds more like a NetCaptor review, now that I read it over again.

I really like this program.
It's small and easy to use and takes away all the hassle of unneeded features/options in IE and Mozilla, just concentrating on displaying the web pages using the rendering engines of either two mentioned browsers. The ability to open new browser windows in the same instance of the program (as in Opera), is very, very nice!
