Publisher's Description

Selkie IT migrates data from dead or working computers, no prior installation or previous backup needed. It is designed for the expert repair shop that needs to do many data recoveries from crashed systems in one day, or migrate data from many systems to newer systems. Selkie creates a file share on a network, and works on failing systems. It is compatible with all versions of Windows, including Windows 7. It saves technicians hours of time in moving data. Selkie identifies device drivers in the dead computer so that technicians have an easier time repairing it.

Selkie will not choke on problematic files and does not need to be supervised while moving data; if Selkie encounters a corrupted file, it will log it and move on to continue the recovery/migration process.

I think this software is great!! It's nice that you can you use it for a variety of different things: moving files from a dead machine, data migration, or data recovery. I also love that it's very well priced and really easy to use. I first bought it to save my data from a dead computer. I've since used it to move my files from one machine to another, and was impressed that it will move your files in the same order as it finds them!
