SimViewer is to be used to open the .jpg, .gif, and .bmp files rather than opening them using Internet Explorer by default which takes longer and uses more resources. It is specifically designed to view multiple photos (up to 500) within a directory, rather than just viewing single photos (it still works for single photos). It can also be used as a Slide Show, to browse multiple pictures, or even for making a presentation. Finally, the Slide Show option can sort the pictures by Name, by Type, by Size, or by Date.
