Publisher's Description
Simple Startup Manager allows you to manage which programs to run at Windows startup. This software gives you the ability to add, delete and edit applications to be run at system startup and presents a consolidated view of the locations where these programs are launched: Registry, Win.ini file and Startup folder. You can save the list of programs that are currently scheduled to be run as a profile that can be restored later. You may see a list of started startup application processes, start new programs, terminate running processes and edit the list at any time.

StartupCPL is buggy--let's get that out of the way right now. But even StartupCPL allows you to disable and re-enable startup items, which--if you can believe it--Simple Startup Manager 1.14 does not.
That's right, you can create, edit, and delete startup items, but you can't disable the individual items. You can save and restore entire startup "profiles", but not individual items.
And by the way, when you delete a startup item, you get no confirmation.
And at $25, it's wildly overpriced. No, this did *NOT* figure into my rating at all; I'm just mentioning it as a separate point.

It appears to do what it says but then again, so does Startup CPL for about $25 less.
