OO DEAR NICE SOME ONE STOLEN MY LAPTOP! AND THIS SMART MADE IT BEST I FOUND IT BY THE HELP OF THIS PROGRAM. IMAGINE THAT EVERY ONE SURFS INTERNET AND YOUR STOLEN PC TOO WITH ITS NEW PC-DRIVER. IF A SOFTWARE IS VERY KNOWN CAN CATCH IT FOR YOU. EVERY ONE DOWNLOADS AND INSTALLS IT THAN UPDATES IT. UPDATING A SOFTWARE MEANS YOU UPDATE SERVER AND IT UPDATES YOU AND FIXES EVERYTHING LOCATES YOUR POSITION. SMARTS ALWAYS WIN. BE A WINNER. I HAD MOST FAMOUS PROGRAMS IN MY PC. FAMOUS ONES BRINGS YOU TO ME.

Nagware at best, crippleware at worst. Same features can be found elsewhere.

Well this might be a total new rewrite from the ground up but it looks like it's still need alot of work. I would call this a Alpha release.
First it does'nt ask if it can place a shortcut in the System Tray.
Second: I blocked it from placing a shortcut in the systemtray and it locked my desktop up tighter than a drum.
Rebooted and it and ZoneAlarm Pro had a fight, ZoneAlarm won, and now Smartfix is history.

Most of the features that you use to get for free are gone,

Don't bother with it. It's turning into a dog.

Still enjoy this "all in one place" utility. I am however experiencing a problem with the icon disappearing from the toolbar which has me stumped.
I will contact the author again. He has been most helpful with quick reponses to any quesitions that come up. (Y)

I've been using Smart Fix since version 2.1 and find it useful, but I wonder if the latest version needs all the fixes that it touts in the Advanced Options.

I'm finding the program most useful. It has alot of features and tools all located in one place.

Both the publisher and the himepage link to EINFODAILY, a news service. If the developer wants to hide, can he product be safe? Good?
