Smooth Player is an AVI player designed chiefly for the low-end machines (will default to a lower resolution when run in full screen). Some of us want to watch movies without having to buy the fastest machine in the market.

Please note that this is a general multimedia player for playing back AVI files. Different AVI files may be encoded with different "codecs", so by having an AVI player does mean you can play every single AVI file in the world.
