I don't know what version I got, but it looked nothing like the snapshot shown on the screen. It was primitave looking, and when I wanted to use it no matter what information I searched for it directed me to the same web site. It was useless to me. The one plus was it uninstalled well.

This is just a redirect to a software search site. And not a very good one. The Google toolbar is much better, as you get more relevant results, AND, it isn't just limited to software.
