Publisher's Description

TimeLeft is a clock, reminder, and countdown using Winamp skins to show digits and text. Reminder can be set to specified date/time or run periodically. It also can remind you before specified event or repeat reminding after. Countdown counts how much time (year, months, days, hours, minutes and seconds) is left to (or elapsed from) reminder run.

I use this to ring a chime every nn minutes to remind me to do things on a regular basis. It has several styles of displays to choose from and doesn't eat up a lot of my precious memory or resources on my system.

Certainly looks worse than bad. Poor design and idea. I suggest using Samurize - you can do the clock and much more powerful things on your desk - free and totaly customizable design.
This is just "another" not needed clock-type soft

Yes newer is not always better. I searched Google like a DAWG. Could not find a link to the older versions. Oh Well. :)

"Newer is not always better."
This is the case with TimeLeft v3. It's user-friendly customization has got to hell, and I'm not sure why they chose to make it so. TimeLeft v2 was exactly the same as v3, but you could do much more with it. If anyone's got a copy of TLv2, please send it to me. I'd like to stick it on OldVersions.com.

Sucks up 9 Mb of memory to do very little or nothing. Not very adjustable and some of the controls don't work at all. Plus I could not easily see how to set it to the correct time (which it wouldn't do on it's own).

Then there is the little trick about the "freeware" verses the pay-for-it version (which may show the correct time)

Not ready for prime time.
