I have to echo others experiences. I have used this for years, but lately downloads have slowed to a crawl. Qbit, doesn't work that well for me, but Transmission is excellent.

A nice effort, but both qBittorrent and Transmission for Windows are much faster. Plus the interface is a bit too old school. I usually like that, but this one is missing something...

Why "no more". Please see the huge changelogs... This is working perfectly for me on 64bit machine.

It use to be my favorite client but noticed significant performance issues (especially with DOWNLOADS) compared to qTorrent..

Works very well. There is even a debian package for Linux at their official site. Can share files via the built in IRC as well. No adware, no bloat, and very fast downloads. Been using this for a few years now.

my favorite client non bloat works well
NyaR reviewed v2.12 on May 7, 2015
Downloads at maximum connection speed and has never crashed in a year of use.
Custom and self-updating blocklists are also a big selling point.
Interface is customizable and even recolorable.

Tried it. Throwed it out.

Configurable UI with different color schemes and settings (guy below, who gave two stars on this fact, did not explore "options"). Auto updating block lists. No spyware/adware/crap. 64 bit version. Manual peer sorting, rejecting, choking, and bandwidth controls. Scheduler and just about every other feature you find in other clients. None are better.
FatBastard reviewed v1.97 on Aug 20, 2014
It's a pretty good program but the UI is far from elegant...
boaz reviewed v1.96 on Mar 25, 2014
By far the best torrent/P2P program that I have used. Very stable.
tomkelly reviewed v1.96 on Aug 22, 2013
tixati is solid

This is the best P2P client for both Linux Mint and Windows.
NyaR reviewed v1.95 on May 11, 2013
This is the best torrent client, there are none better. Do some research and you will see it auto updates blocklists as well.

I personally find this to be better than any other BTclient. Yes qbitorrent works well, but i certainly don't think it's any faster, it has less features and often files hang for an eternity. I have tried most of the clients out there and keep coming back to this one.
asaenz reviewed v1.95 on May 10, 2013
seems like it is becoming slower ... either that or my expectations are progressively becoming higher and I am a little disappointed but it gets the job done
HeilNizar reviewed v1.95 on May 10, 2013
Not responsive, feels like a brick
Blaxima reviewed v1.95 on May 10, 2013
Some have been spamming this board claiming Tixati is the best new torrent client but the fact is that it is slow, cumbersome and buggy. As are most of the clients I've come across in searching for a uTorrent replacement. qBittorrent is by far the closets thing I've found, certainly not this
FatBastard reviewed v1.95 on May 10, 2013
I think Tixati is made by the same peple that made WinMX aka Frontcode Technologies.

Looks like this just got posted to BetaNews...I've been using this for a while now. I don't remember how I originally ran across it, but it's the torrent program I like the most after ditching uTorrent and Vuze etc for it.
NyaR reviewed v1.94 on Apr 3, 2013
The best client!
Automatic block lists, choosing your own peers, etc.
